I don't have an SB1 but I'd guess it's menus and much of it's
functionality are similar to the SB3.  If you have a JVC_DVD player (or
universal remote with JVC_DVD) you can emulate the IR remote of the SB3
(assuming SB1 as well).  If yes...  hit the LEFT arrow to enter player
Setup menus, scroll completely through the menu selections back to first
item, now scroll to look for your server name/IP.

ALL SB players always go looking for the same server it was last
connected to.  If it cannot be found the older players can sometimes get
confused and do some strange things.  Also it can take a few seconds for
the players to discover new LMS servers on the network, or even a
changed IP of the same server.  Which is why doing the Setup menu
scrolling above usually resolves the issue.
