I am using a single lms session and a modified Plugin from Michael (sub-library demo) that allows me to separate my stuff from my kids stuff and the one from my wife. Using Hyper V is good - if you have the proper license for the windows guest, if you are a non *ux guy it may become strange to support one *ux lms server and another under *blows. Using the sub-library demo Plugin from Michael needs "some" minor work but its already done by others. Best practice? IMHO one fits all with separate libs for each and of curse the root library (the Mother from all sublibs) Strange to handle under all solutions is the combination from the two libs (songs that your wife and your son want to hear) unless you using duplicates.
