Hmm - sorry I'm at work at present and can't check the exact text to be really clear. But I definitely selected the Music Library option (so I could see Artists and Search and so on) and then chose the "Music Folder" option because I wanted to find the track by folder rather than tags. I remember clearly because I usually use the tags. That was the point that it hung. But it is possible that it had some unfinished scanning business (If that makes any sense at all?) to do because I hadn't scanned for some time, and in the previous week I had added some new tracks and rather than properly scan them in I had just played from their folder. And then removed some of them. mherger wrote: > > Crap... that's indeed pretty much the behaviour we were seeing in the > past. > Obviously it's all working now so this probably won't cause me any grief now for a year :) Is it possible the fix wasn't in the version I was using (v7.9.0, 1450801618, Tue Dec 22 16:33:24 CUT 2015)?
