Ouch... this artist seems to download a >50MP image. If that's a PNG, then this could easily reach 150MB. Can you check above path and drop the file to my dropbox, too? If it's no longer there, re-run a scan with debugging enabled for the Music & Artist Information plugin. It might tell us what artist it's choking on.
To work around this issue you should configure a folder for the artist images and put a smaller image of that artist in there. Eg. configure the plugin, then run the scan. After it crashed, you take that picture referenced in the log file, resize it, rename it to the user's name, move it to the configured folder. If all is configured well, this might cause the plugin to pick up your local copy rather than download that huge image.
