Hi all,
in the meantime I played around and "accidently" found a solution which
works on my raspberry pi 2.
I purged the package logitechmediaserver and removed the folder
/usr/lib/squeezeboxserver manually to start fresh.
Then I installed the latest nightly (from May 16th 2016 this time). I
did *not* unpack the patch tar archive as I have seen in the log that
the server did start successfully after the package install completed.
I stopped the server and modified the module configuration in
/etc/squeezeboxserver/modules.conf (as guessed from the error in my
previous post):
from (row 23 in my version):
Code:
--------------------
Image::Scale 0.08
--------------------
to:
Code:
--------------------
Image::Scale 0.11
--------------------
Now I started the server, surfed into the webpage at: raspberry:9000,
configured my media folders and started the scan.
The scan completed successfully after which the server died one time and
restarted automatically.
Tho only issue I see in the log is:
Code:
--------------------
[16-05-16 12:48:55.2953] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1244) Warning:
[12:48:55.2934] Async::HTTP: Unable to load IO::Socket::SSL, will try
connecting to SSL servers in non-SSL mode
--------------------
My Squeezbox Radio instantly connected to the server and until now
everything works just fine with this *unpatched* release.
If someone faces the same issues, please just try out without patching.
Regards,
Stephan
