First, thanks for your reply and suggestion I get rid of systemd. I am new to Ubuntu and the only experience I have with Unix is with a Sun Solaris server and that was quite a while ago and occasionally tinkering with my Mac in terminal. Somebody suggested I try Ubuntu instead of installing Windows on a PC I was trying to reconfigure because it was previously a Windows XP machine. I thought it best to install the most recent version of Ubuntu I could find. Since I have not yet installed any other software, perhaps I would be better served with a different flavor of Unix or a different distro rather than getting rid of systemd? Any suggestions? I mostly want to use the computer for streaming music through my Logitech Media Server and storing photographs and perhaps videos. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ lnadon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65748 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105526 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
