Guys, I have an interesting issue that has become apparent recently while trying to play a 24-96 FLAC.
I have a few 24-96 Flacs in my library, and they have all played without issue until. As afr as I can tell, this buffering issue relates to only one album. It is a 24-96 with tracks around the 3500 - 5000 kbps VBR. I have attached a screen grab of the data stream. The first peak is the beginning of a Fleetwood mac 24-96 track. There are no buffering issues with that track, it plays straight away with no buffering or delay. The second BIGGER/FATTER peak is the beginning of the 10cc track that buffers and takes a couple of seconds to start playing. In both cases, you can see that the data stream settles down and is continuous. Once the 10cc track starts playing, there is no stuttering or buffering. It plays good. When opening the 10cc album folder in windows or MP3Tag or FooBar, it opens/loads REALLY slowly. All other 24-96 Flacs open/load very quick, as per normal. I know that I could just delete this album, but I am really curious as to WHY ??? I have done all the usual stuff. Stripped out the tags and redone them Removed all album art etc. I have now run out of ideas and call upon your experience. Thanks !
