I did say that I was not trying to be unkind, why wait for someone with a similar situation to yourself to happen along and solve your problem? If I have a software problem I contact the software developer first, If they can't help or they refuse then I "reach out" (terrible modern parlance :(). If I still further can't resolve the problem I stop using the software.
