Are you browsing by My Music > Music folders? Or My Music > Discs and Folders?
There is a difference. In your first post the file path you give is the one that you would get browsing My Music > Discs and folders (URL:tmp:////mynas/music/m/album I'm trying to play). There's something not quite right with your setup/description, but I'm not sure what!
