Since our images have the capability to make use of both the Squeezebox
Server and the Squeezelite Player, even multiple ones in one Raspberry
Pi, we have always had a focus on multiroom audio systems and how to
implement our software into Raspberry Pi-based multiroom systems. For
this purpose we have made two helpful tools to assist anyone interested
in setting up a multiroom configuration.

One is the 'extensive blog post by my colleague Christoph'
who goes step by step, detailing all the necessary components,
preparations and configurations for a fully fledged multiroom setup with
the Squeezebox Server at its heart.

The other is an' interactive Multiroom Audio Configurator'
(https://www.max2play.com/en/multiroom-audio-configurator/) which tells
you exactly which components you would preferably need for a specific
room in your house with specific parameters. Those include your
preexisting hardware, like a stereo in the living room, or additional
wishes, like a touchscreen in your bedroom.

Especially the Multiroom Audio Configurator is still a work in progress
and we would very much appreciate any feedback or ideas on the subject.
