When you did the upgrade to v7.9 did you do all the recommended tweaky bits? Perhaps install LMS v7.8 which takes over from v7.2.2 without any messing about (technical term, there!) On a windows PC you should be able to check the "share" folders where your music files are stored (just to make sure they are there) Then ask St.Nicholas for a Raspberry pi3 and instal LMS on that and save yourself the pain and grief of trying to run LMS on a Qnap (even a good old'n) Ronnie Download this file and place it on the Qnap nas in the Public Share.
