Hi, I have a similar problem with my setup. I use Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1479847212 on an Ubuntu 14.04LTS server. As client I use squeezelite on ubuntu (laptop) and debian (raspberry pi and c.h.i.p.).
Everthing works really fine. I can play files, folders and playlists from LMS itself and from external UPnP Server (i.e. bubble UPnP on my smartphone. bubbleupbp acts here as upnp/DLNA server for the files on my smartphone). Sometime I have an album on my smartphone, which isn't in my LMS collection. So I use the possibilty to send upnp/DLNA to LMS. Every client in my system shows up as upnp renderer in any upnp controller. I can play a files with bubbleupnp (here it acts as controller) from my smartphone (bubbleupnp again, as server) or any other upnp server (i.e. my NAS or mythtv). As long as I just play one file it is OK. If I play an album or a playlist with more than one file, the playback ends after the first song. As soon as I press the next or previous buttons, the next file will be played. That is the only issue I have. Perhaps someone else has this problem also. I'm willing to help with logfiles or whatever is needed to fix this problem. For me it looks like LMS is not sending a correct response to the upnp controller/server that the first song was played and the next URL should be send. I search in this forum and google, but this is the only thread I found. For me it's not docker related.
