Hi all,
I am running LMS 7.7.5 on a WD MyBookLive 1 TB. The system was running
smoothly for quite some time. I recently added a big new batch of songs
in my Music folder and I asked LMS to rescan from scratch. The scanning
process starts fine but it never ends. Actually, it freezes at some
point, after scanning approximately 10.000 songs. I stop the scanning
process and the system still works with the scanned songs but I just
want to have my entire music collection (around 15.000 songs / flac
files).
I tried many workarounds, like reinstalling LMS, deleting configuration
files and rebuilding the DB, etc. with no result. It looks to me like a
space in the database files needs to be augmented but I am not sure. I
tried to upgrade to 7.8, still I have the same issue.
Has anyone any idea on how to resolve this?
