I mistyped, the default range of my provider box is 192.168.1.x.
168.x.x.x would not be a problem anyway since it's on the LAN side. My
main network is 192.9.200.x which is also an official one I think, and
that never was a problem.

The point was just that the same folder B:\Music is used by 2 different
LMS instances, running on 2 different networks bridged through a VMWare
virtual machine so that only this folder is common to the 2 networks. If
my WIFI is compromised, the main network remains invisible.

The second LMS server never crashed, but I don't do many rescans with
it.

That's the only unusual thing with my setup, aside using B:.

I tried to make a junction on C:\Music pointing to B:\Music, so that LMS
could browse into it. That did not prevent the crashes, so using B: is
not the problem I think.
