One Touch in the same room as the router, but across the threshold to the room. No simple way to run a cable. The other Touch is in another room. Actually, it might be easier to run a cable to that one (as it would be parallel to my TV cable). Firmware updated automatically on installation. Tried channels 3 (my current choice after running a wi-fi analysis program), 4, 7 and 11 (as I recall), and I currently have 2.4 and 5gHz set up as separate SSIDs. But I also tried using the same SSID. Will try switching network mode to 802.11g only. One other option is channel width. Currently set on Auto. The other option is 20 MHz only. I don't really even know what that does. Taking a break from testing.
