Hi jemhayward I have nearly the same machine for my main LMS server with following exceptions - 32GB SSD for the OS and LMS Server (just to be "green" compliant) - Internal 3TB HDD for my music collection (+ external for backup) But I'm using UBUNTU server (64 bit) and not Windows I don't see any advantage to have a better computer for LMS even when music need to be down-sampled (I have many 192 & 384kHz FLAC files and my Touch and my DAC are limited to 96kHz)
