Thanks all for your help. @michael, I don't see anything in the server logs when the station starts playing then fails. I see only this (but I think this is something else): > [17-02-03 09:07:43.5964] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (131) > Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Player::Source::__ANON__: > illegal file descriptor or filehandle (either no attached file > descriptor or illegal value): at > /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 134. > ; fh=IO::Handle=GLOB(0x10337830)
This definitely seems to be the https vs http issue. And I'm playing on a Transporter. But saw exact same issue playing on Squeezelite on Windows machine at the office with the https URL (LMS 7.9, feb 1 version) To summarize: https://www.wuft.org/stream/wuft-fm-hd1-aac.m3u points to: https://ice41.securenetsystems.net/WUFT?playSessionID=1F53A869-01C0-86AA-26BE14492BC93074 This won't play. But if I manually convert the "https://" to "http://" in my favorites the above link plays fine. @michael (or others). I vaguely recall that in LMS 7.9, tunein links will work in the future, even if mysqueezebox.com didn't exist. Is that correct? That is, the following link (which works now), would work with no mysb.com connection????> > http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s23371&formats=aac,ogg,mp3,wma,wmvoice,hls,real&partnerId=16&serial=dc0765ec747cbe23954d16e73e89ec65 *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.9 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.9 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win8(64) > LMS 7.9 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Transporter, Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win8(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106907 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
