That's exactly my use case (except that my daughter can read now). I was referring to KidsPlay because she asked me to leave the KidsPlay setup (simply pressing buttons) but add a selection menu for SOME of her stuff where she can browse through the list. The library approach seems to be the right one. But is it possible to switch to the library view from the server/from a plugin? I have played around with SqueezePlay yesterday after my mail and increased the loglevels. I saw that selecting the music folder on the Radio lead to a big JSON structure being sent around that contained the displayed entries. Wouldn't it be possible somehow to send this JSON from a script or something (KidsPlay offers an API to run an arbitrary command on the server).
