Sorry, this post is just one of those random ones, but things have moved on so much.
I have to take my LMS hosting laptop to work as I need the bandwidth to sync/backup my music collection to Amazon Cloud Drive (moving from OneDrive) but I still needed a local server for at least on-line radio in the house. I started fretting about leaving a desktop PC on and installing LMS and all that. Then "lightbulb!" ... I have a Raspberry Pi 3 doing CCTV recording... and voila, there's a Debian ARM package, wget ..., dpkg -i ..., web access, done. That is a lot simpler and quicker than it was few years ago, and my RPi3 is now doing even more than it used to for very little cost. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Peter Galbavy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32718 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107019 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
