Are you running without a mysqueezebox.com account? I was running without one when I had this problem but have since had to re-install piCore and have not removed mysqueezebox.com and I'm haven't suffered since then. It's early days for me but I think this may have been the source of the problem for me. I think removing mysqueezebox.com left a few loose ends which may have caused this problem for me.
