Well, if you install a nightly build, then you'll get nightly builds. It's the idea of nightlies. If you don't want this behaviour then either turn off automatic updates (which I wouldn't recommend in general), or stick with the stable build. And that's exactly what this 7.9.0 release is for: stay stable. Don't update daily.
