Hey I appreciate the help Michael and I as I said I did close all my open ports, and am not going to open them anytime soon. The only reason I questioned your solution was because it didn't work and LMS is still crashing at the time of my daily auto rescan. I just did a manual rescan using the same settings as the auto rescan occurring at 5am and my system didn't crash. And I didn't get the error messages that seemed to be triggered by the auto rescan, namely these guys: [17-03-23 05:00:08.4567] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1244) Warning: [05:00:08.4565] Image::Scale libpng error: IDAT: CRC error (M:\OneDrive\Pictures\Screen captures - iDevices\FB profile pic - Copy.PNG) [17-03-23 05:01:15.7776] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1244) Warning: [05:01:15.7774] Perl interpreter failed at /<C:\PROGRA~2\SQUEEZ~1\server\SQUEEZ~3.EXE>Slim/Utils/GDResizer.pm line 165. [17-03-23 10:36:19.2475] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.0, 1488878280, Wed Mar 8 14:37:44 CUT 2017) perl 5.014001 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread I just realized that perhaps the issue was the picture gallery plugin since I turned it off, but didn't restart the LMS server, so at the time of the auto scan this morning I suppose the picture gallery plugin was still running. Stupid me. I'l change the time of the auto scan next and see what happens.
