Hey I appreciate the help Michael and I as I said I did close all my
open ports, and am not going to open them anytime soon. 

The only reason I questioned your solution was because it didn't work
and LMS is still crashing at the time of my daily auto rescan. 

I just did a manual rescan using the same settings as the auto rescan
occurring at 5am and my system didn't crash. And I didn't get the error
messages that seemed to be triggered by the auto rescan, namely these
guys:

I just realized that perhaps the issue was the picture gallery plugin
since I turned it off, but didn't restart the LMS server, so at the time
of the auto scan this morning I suppose the picture gallery plugin was
still running. Stupid me. 

I'l change the time of the auto scan next and see what happens.
