For me the crash is directly related to the Picture Gallery plugin. I
might be one of the ones Michael was referring to with regard to this
plugin being enabled by default... Here is my post from another
thread.

---------------------------------
I have a something to add to this thread.

I have also been plagued by the "GDResizer.pm line 165" crash. Had it
for a while, rebuilt my LMS from scratch, was fine for a month or two
and then just last night it cropped up again. Argh. I'm running Windows
8.1

With pbjbryan's notes above I went back and checked out the Picture
Gallery plugin. It was indeed enabled and furthermore it had a bunch of
Gallery Paths that I _KNOW_ that were never entered by me. In fact,
several of them were from an external drive that I've had hooked up to
the server for a few weeks.

Here's what's most interesting: I just YESTERDAY unplugged that external
drive. And those folders are still in the Picture Gallery settings (even
though they are invalid paths).

So a couple of possible problems here:
- Why (how?) is Picture Gallery adding folders to its settings? How does
it determine which folders to add? Is it something to do with Windows
Libraries (which has always kind of been a mystery)
- Is it possible that missing/invalid paths in Picture Gallery settings
are not being handled correctly?

I don't have time to test any of these theories - I'm going to disable
the plug-in to see if the problem goes away. Just tossing these ideas
out here in case anyone else has thoughts...
