I really do appreciate the input. A few questions because this could go fubar for me.
Is 7.9 worth it over 7.8? I don't want to go through with this hassle if it's not. Not sure how to uninstall 7.8. Not sure how to install 2.4 on vortexbox...I looked at it briefly and it seems complicated. If 7.9 fixes all the shite I'm having w/spotify, then i'll do it...otherwise I might just stay put.
