It's me again, I purged installation, cleaned all directories and made a reinstallation. I moved the cache to the recommended partition, disabled all plugins except of full text search and rescan music library (according to Michaels suggestions in the thread Endless scan).
All scans aborted after little less than 8 minutes! Progress shows a scan running smooth until some 8000 files (different points!) - approximately after 1 minute - and than nothing happened for the next 7 minutes befor abortion. This behavior is repeatable again and again: 1 minute scanning, stop around 8000, abort seven minutes later. Any ideas?
