This is exactly the type of conversation I like to have. Some people could
not afford an apple a day for the teacher. Some could. Some could afford
much more. The point is that there's some line somewhere, and that line is
different for everyone. Someone may be willing to do much more than I am to
get ahead. And I might consider that "unfair". But I genuinely believe it
will catch up with them. And if it doesn't, I don't care - nothing is
fair. I will work to the level that I think is right, and I will do the
things I think are appropriate to get what I want/need. I think we all
are in the same boat, and I don't necessarily need to project my hangups on
others. (That's not a criticism, just an explanation about why I don't care
at all about the affair). The harassment is the key problem here.
