As per my post well above, I'm expecting an issue with my LMS.
Since I can play RP in VLC, I'm suspecting the problem is not with the
RP stream.
I can't play the Groove Salad [Soma FM] stream.  "Problem.  Can't open
file."

Please, is there any notes someplace that give me clues as to how to fix
the LMS transcoding ?

PS.  In this context, RP = Radio Paradise, not Raspberry Pi.  RaPi are
great too !
