Hi, I have an alternative (slightly related to this thread) network
connectivity defect with Squeezeplay (all versions up to current) &
Virtualbox (all versions).

I find that SqueezePlay is confused by the additional virtual NIC
adapaters installed by common virtual machines for their inter-vm
switches (vmware player, virtualbox etc)
This means it fails to connect if these adapters are enabled.

When I start squeezeplay the LMS server name broadcast is received from
LMS but the client cannot connect back & times out.
To connect I need to disable those adapters & then connect, which is
fine.
This only seems to affect the initial connection - once it has connected
it is fine & I can re-enable the NICs I have to disable to bring it up.

I suspect it is misreading which network to send the traffic back to &
trying to connect via one of the subnets used for inter-virtual machine
comms.
