If there are problems playing streams direct (i.e.not proxied) to player - you shopudl check by testing other high bit rate MP3 streams. If most have problem streamgin smoothly you should double check your local network between player and router (e.g. test wit wired connection, use static IP address or very long lease DHCP, if wireless don't use extenders).
