For plugins which are installed via the "plugins" tab. To backup currently installed plugins - just copy the "Installed Plugins/Plugins" directory (full directory path in show in the WebUI Settings/Information - Plugins folders) to somewhere not in a LMS directory. Then when the devs disappear - ask for help on how to reinstall.
