AAC is an audio codec - to play natively software players must built or linked with AAC libraries.
What is your "endpoint" ? Is it built to play AAC natively ? What codec support does it report to LMS (use command line option to find out) ? What version of LMS are you runnign ? Does the LMS provided version of faad actually run on your Raspbian system ? If you have problems with a specific internet stream the problem could be due to * AAC options chosen such as multichannel * the wrapper/container/frame used (e.g ADTS, many versions of MPEG-4) * the transport (e.g http, https, Flash, HLS , DASH). The best way to start would be to try playing a stream that shoud; be play with a default LMS installtion and a player that has been configured properly. http://somafm.com/illstreet64.pls ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108566 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
