Going back to the original question. Is the playlist failing simply because the file path is now different?
The OP said he had moved from a full PC to a Pi but files are on a NAS. Unless great care was taken at setup of the new Pi the filepaths will almost certainly have changed and consequently the playlist file will need editing. Notepad++ is the Windows tool for this job.
