The scanning is a one-time thing (or when you add new music). When I did this for my 35k tracks, it took a week maybe, but it was background and I was at work. Rebuilding / checking my raid can take almost that so for me that is not an issue. I would be really interested in what you have done to get it working, and to test it (I have 2 QNAPs). Incidentally, I just installed the new Qpkg on my production NAS and I am having problems. It works fine on the 569 but not the 670pro. Will post back when I find out why.
