I started by installing the Digimaster's distribution. The install proceeded very smooth. Nice. A 100% thanks for that recommendation. I then logged in via SSH and got a positive ping test result. I found that my "problem NAS" had a switch problem. I checked the Virtual switch setting and voilà(!)... I found the actual network interface box was unchecked. Checked it and now all works like a charm again. This morning I was late for work after getting all this to work and finally getting access to Spotify (Spotty).
