Sorry - don't know the OS, but I seem to have the same issue adding a new media folder to LMS, using the browser ... I have 9 folders currently setup ... trying to add a 10th called opera, but it does not allow me to apply the new folder... The directory permissions are the same as the other folders .. I can have the content as a subfolder of an existing directory ...
