I did a restart and now with the official release it updated to 7.9.2. The nightly 7.9.1 (April) -> official 7.9.1 (March) -> nightly 7.9.2 (April) routine is a bit confusing (having to run the updater twice due to the "official detour"). But it worked, that's what matters.
