I build perl from source, with included module provided bij perl. If i build a the x86_64/AMD64 perl it works great, same source same included modules. Seem for the i686 with -Duse64bitint, works on support systems. Is just the version which is looking for i386-linux-thread-multi, which gives a error.
If i look in the CPAN/arch/5.24/ directory miss the directory i386-linux-thread-multi. All other directories can be found there like i6386-linux-thread-multi-64int. Here is the listing of directories . /SlimServer/CPAN/arch/5.24] # ls aarch64-linux-thread-multi/ Class/ DBI.pm* Image/ x86_64-linux-thread-multi/ arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int/ DBI/ i386-linux-thread-multi-64int/ JSON/ If you go to 5.18, there is a directorie i386-linux-thread-multi SlimServer/CPAN/arch/5.18] # ls Class/ DBI/ DBI.pm* i386-linux-thread-multi/ i386-linux-thread-multi-64int/ JSON/ x86_64-linux-thread-multi/ So i think there lays the trouble. mherger wrote: > > I know about the -Duse64bitint options ad build, But then it looking > for > > i386-linux-thread-multi-64int directory.
