I have two SBTs connected to the pi3, and they are both synced. This set-up has been status quo for a couple of years and to be honest, I had the same issue about a year ago, but then it was not just streaming services but my own library connected direct to the pi. I have only become aware of the problem with LastFM and Spotty in the last couple of weeks as the previous issue was solved a year ago, but I can't recall the fix! There are no neighbours using my wi-fi, and the internet comes via cable. I will change my SBTs so that only one is connected to the pi and trial that.
