The "database locked" issue would probably happen if you tried to play
something before the scan had completed. I thought I had addressed this
in 7.9, but maybe there still is an edge case.

This otoh is what is causing the web UI to fail. And I don't understand
yet where this is coming from. I can't reproduce the issue myself :-(.
This is the first time I see these "database is locked" errors. What
could that be? Any chance this is related to the "wide characters"
