Hello - I am simply "buffaloed" as to how to get LMS to playback a VLC music stream, which is being hosted locally.
I am sending the stream out from one computer on the home network. I can play the stream on another computer on the home network with VLC as client - no problems there, so URL etc are correct. ( http://10.209.162.139:8080 ) For some reason, I cannot access the stream from either Windows Media Player or Squeezebox via LMS using the same computer on the home network..... I have tried entering the URL into the Tune In URL page in Squeezebox, and there is no error ... it seems to "play" for about 15 seconds (no sound), and then stop. LMS is being hosted w/in a Vortexbox.
