I've been using Squeezeboxen from their original release and have several in my home. I listen to Podcasts amongst other things. Lately when listening to Podcasts from the Twit network, they stop randomly every ~10m or so. This is very annoying. They used to work fine. I do not recall anything I've change of late that may started this issue. I'm attempting to get some logs to find out what's going on but so far haven't been able to isolate the issue. It's possible I'm not turning on the correct logs.
My listening scenario: - Linux Ubuntu (bionic beaver) server running latest released server (7.9.1 if memory serves... typing this from work) - Two synchronized squeezebox devices: a boom connected via Wife and a wired Touch - Using the mysqueezebox Podcast app - Example troublesome podcast URL: feeds.twit.tv/mbw.xml feeds.twit.tv/sn.xml I've not yet fully confirmed it but it appears that other podcast sites do not have this issue. This morning I listened to the Material podcast from the Relay network and it didn't glitch in ~30m of listening. It appears there's something that may have changed on the Twit side that's triggering the issue. I've not yet looked for alternative feeds of these podcasts to see if it's isolated to those URLs. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue and solved it? Any suggestions on what logs I should turn on to grok what's causing the stream interruptions? Things I've yet to try but will be doing this coming weekend: - unsyncing players to see if it's isolated to a single device - reboot entire network (it's getting to be a complicated beast with a couple WiFi access points and several switches) - alternate URLS - see if it's isolated to Twit Any suggestions are welcomed as it's very annoying right now.
