Yes I do use the Music & Artist Information plugin and have about 35k tracks. Next time I see it happening I'll manually delete imageproxy.db do a full rescan and see what happens after that.
I think under these circumstances the file's size is not unrealistic. Yet, it shouldn't grow infinitely.
