Strange, I have the same configuration and not such troubles (RPI3 with LMS 7.9.1 + Domoticz Control + Domoticz + Aeotec ZWave+ key). Domoticz Control doesn't do polling, except when you go into its menu. Do you have SuperDateTime (weather.com version 5.9.42 onwards)?
