Maybe, but I don't think so. I always thought that CustomScan starts
after the regular scan (scanning order = 60, if that helps), for two
reasons. First, CustomScan is still running after the regular scan is
completed: CustomBrowse says "Scanning..." for maybe two hours after the
"The server has finished scanning your media library." message. It did
finish half past midnight. Second, if it would run at the same time, it
would slow down both scans (disk head jumping: as they don't share the
same db, they wouldn't scan the same file at the same time).
But apart from the messages, it's just speculation, of course.
Nonetheless, I'm very sure this hasn't happened before.

This is the CustomScan setting. It doesn't trigger but is triggered with
regular scans.
I also don't understand the timing. The log entry [18-10-22
05:10:11.9637] says "PRECACHEARTWORK FINISHED IN 988.551425933838".
While that's pretty specific for 16 minutes, it still leaves the
question what happened the last seven hours. If it wasn't for "Total
Time: 02:48:21" I would have said, ok, there was a scan that took 16
minutes (that btw. scanned exactly the same what it scanned some hours
before but took twice as long). It's strange.
