The MP4 issue has nothing to do with the MP3 issue - the commonality of 48kHz was a red herring seemingly tying them together. Unless that poster provides a copy of the problem MP3 file - there is little to do. Other have had this MP4 issues (mdat at head of file) with podcasts.
