I experienced lots of strange errors and decided to reinstall my server. I first tried linux mint ( mate) and ended with a fresh install of Debian 9 ( more stable) Everything works as expected execpt the scanning of the approx 70K mp3 and Flac files. The scanner sees the files and starts scanning.. it "stops unexpectedly "" and sometimes the scanner log is empty. If there is something in the log ( mostly after a rescan at wich i manually deleted the db files) there a a lot of errors on some files but not sure if that should matter. any thoughts?
