Was even a bit more complicated than that, seems to be not just a track stop/start. After writing the previous post, I checked with the controller of a duet synchronized with a radio, after I had changed artwork proxy to LMS and rebooted the radio. The radios display was updating but not the duet. So I rebooted the duet and now they both update ... well, never mind I assumed it was a mysb problem and there is something with power cycling clients for some changes to be taken into account. LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
