need the /proc, /tmp and /sys directories?
/proc is being used in various places (LMS and included modules)
/tmp I try to avoid as we've seen quite a few issues in the past where
/tmp would have been on a small partition. But I believe that some of
the dependencies might still be using it.
/sys I don't think we use.
