I'm going through a phase of my Radio not picked up my preferred alarm (a BBC radio internet stream.....) and launching loud disco music. So far as I can tell - browsing years of forum discussions of this - there is no simple way of changing that default music to something more soothing... But, I did find this thread - https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?77403-Workaround-for-too-loud-fallback-alarm-change-volume/page2 - which offers an easy way of at least greatly reducing the *volume* of that default disco when it does kick in. I've installed the patch, and will see over the next few days if it still works or not! As suggested in many threads, my problem seems to be a mix of a) net stream failures, b) occasional home network glitches, and c) perhaps LMS server wake-up issues on the laptop that runs it. Usually the BBC stream plays fine - and, now being retired! - it's not really a major problem for me if it goes off early, late, not at all, or annoyingly. But I'm one of those "stuff should just work" guys, and it is frustrating that the Alarm function is a tad flaky.....
