It works for me too on a RPi 3 running raspbian stretch: Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) - Linux music 4.14.98-v7+ #1200 SMP Tue Feb 12 20:27:48 GMT 2019 armv7l GNU/Linux
All I did was download the 7.9.2 deb package from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.9 and then as root, run the following command: dpkg -i logitechmediaserver_7.9.2~1551709029_arm.deb And it worked!
